I recognize that reaching out to find a counselor is a daunting process. I hope to make this easier by clarifying the goals of my practice. While I enjoy and have experience with individual, group, and family therapy with people across the lifespan from children and teens to adults and the elderly, I most enjoy helping couples navigate their relationships. I find that helping couples build a new and stronger foundation has a positive impact on not only their relationship, but on them individually and on each member of the family.
My education at Pepperdine University had an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. While I use a CBT and strengths-based focus in my work, I also have completed both levels one and two of The Gottman Method for couples counseling. I accept insurance for individuals, but insurance does not cover traditional marriage counseling.
My goal is that my clients feel safe and valued in an accepting and nurturing setting. I hope you will choose to get support and let me help you develop a plan to manage the issues impacting you and your relationships. I offer day and evening appointments.
